Hailing from the Bay Area, DJ HVFF (pronounced “huff”) has made a name as one of the most versatile and accomplished Open Format Club and radio DJ’s of the new generation.

Trying to find his place in the industry, HVFF tested different ventures to break into the scene.  In 2016, HVFF first partnered with his college friend DJ ZAW to start a Basshouse DJ/Producer duo called “Takemoto”, to create original songs and perform live for nightclubs and concerts, supporting popular acts such as Elephante and Ekali.

Around that same time,  HVFF also used his love for radio to spot as one of the on-air mixers for 103.5 KHHM in Sacramento.  Today, he curates, produces, and hosts the weekend mixshow for 97.7/98.3 KWIN/KWNN in Stockton, while also performing guest slots on other radio stations in Northern California.

In 2018, HVFF decided to take a step away from Takemoto to continue building his solo moniker, which allowed him to venture into the “Open-Format” world of DJing.  By building many connections in the nightlife scene and paying it forward, HVFF has now secured headlining residencies for nearly every major nightclub in the Bay Area, as well as guest residencies across the country and internationally.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, HVFF decided to elevate his brand further and began curating events.  HVFF’s first event, INDVSTRY WEDNESDAYS took off to bring energy back to the Bay’s nightlife industry scene, while his “The Good Stvff Party” has been a staple weekend party in San Francisco that promotes his  "The Good Stvff" brand.

To combine his love for sports and music, HVFF capitalized on the opportunity to become the official in-game DJ for Stanford University NCAA Basketball and is currently in his second season.
